Returns & Exchanges

We want the set to be right. If it isn't, here's how we make it easy.

Free size exchange

If a size doesn't fit — or your child grows into the next one sooner than expected — we'll exchange it for the right size free of charge. Contact us within 30 days of delivery and we'll arrange the swap. Caps must be unworn beyond trying on, with tags attached.

Growing Guarantee

Kids do not stay one size for long. When they outgrow their cap, we’ll send the next size free, Toddler to Youth, Youth to Adult, for as long as they are growing. You only ever pay shipping.

To claim it, email us with a photo of the cap they’ve outgrown and your order number, and we’ll get the process underway.

How the Growing Guarantee works

The Growing Guarantee applies to the child's Kindred Cap purchased as part of an original Kindred Set order.

When your child has genuinely outgrown their current Kindred Cap, you can request the next available size at no charge. The size progression is:

Toddler (2–4 years) → Youth (5–11 years) → Adult (12+ years)

The guarantee allows a maximum of two size upgrades per original child’s cap, meaning Toddler can move to Youth and Youth can then move to Adult.

Each size upgrade is available 12 months or more after the original purchase or previous size upgrade.

To make a claim, email us with your original order number and a photo showing the cap your child has outgrown. We may ask for additional information where reasonably necessary to verify the claim.

The replacement cap is provided free of charge. Shipping is payable by the customer.

The guarantee covers genuine growth into the next size. It does not cover caps that have been lost, stolen, damaged, or worn out through normal use, or requests to change size, colour or style where the child has not outgrown the current cap.

Replacement caps are subject to availability. Where the original colour or design is no longer available, we will provide an available alternative of equivalent value.

The guarantee is available to the original purchaser and is not transferable or redeemable for cash.

30-day returns

Changed your mind? You can return unused items in their original condition within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the purchase price. Return postage for change-of-mind returns is at your cost. Once we receive and inspect the return, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5 business days.

Faulty or incorrect items

If anything arrives damaged, faulty, or not what you ordered, contact us straight away — we'll replace it or refund you in full, including postage. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law: our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded, and you are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
